Are there any specific sources or research techniques you would like emphasized?

At the end of the session, what do you want your students to have learned? (I.e. how to find a scholarly journal article, how to narrow a research topic, etc.)

Being able to use examples generated from topics that the student can identify with makes the session more relevant. Please give some examples of topics that students will be researching for an upcoming assignment:
