Reference sources are commonly thought of as dictionaries, almanacs and general encyclopedias such as Encyclopaedia Britannica. However, there are many other types of information sources that are considered to be reference such as atlases, biographical directories or dictionaries, indexes, travel guides, handbooks, yearbooks, indepth subject specific encyclopedias such as Encyclopedia of American Education and many more. Reference resources available at the USF Library may be found by searching the online catalog.
