Identify Your Topic
"Write a 10 page paper about the relationship between physical and psychological health focusing on a specific health concern. Your information should come from books, journals, reference resources and the Internet. You should use no less than 10 resources and only 3 may come from Internet website."
The first step to a research paper is selecting the topic. In some cases, a topic will be assigned to you. However, if you need to select your own topic, be aware that this is one of the most difficult stages of the reseach project.

To find ideas for your research project, the best place to start is with your course materials such as textbooks, syllabus and lecture notes. Don't make the mistake of choosing a topic that appears to be the easiest to research. Afterall, you will be sorting through a lot of information and the process is much easier if the information is interesting to you. Choose a topic that has real-life value or one that you have some experience in dealing with and is of interest to others.
