stress in college students

What physiological and psychological effects does stress have on college students' academic and personal lives and what can be done to treat and control it?

Now that we've compiled our list of search terms and background information, and have familiarized ourselves with common search strategies, it's time to decide which resources would be the most appropriate to search for information regarding stress in college students.

Unless your topic is a completely new phenomenon, you should start by searching for books, multimedia and reference resources in the library's Online Catalog. If there are no books available in your library's catalog on the topic, expand your search to other online catalogs such as I-Share or WorldCat. This process should be done in the early part of your research so you have time to order books from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan. An example search strategy will be discussed in a later section of this module.
