Academic Search Premier (EBSCOhost): 1965-Present
This is an upgraded, expanded version of Academic Search Elite. Indexes journal articles in the social sciences, humanities, general sciences and education. Nearly 8200 journals are indexed and over 4600 of those include the full text.

Article 1st (FirstSearch): 1970-Present
Indexes journal articles in science, technology, medicine, social science, business, humanities, and popular culture. Updated daily. Limited full-text is available.

BioMed Central:
BioMed Central is a collection of over 100 peer-reviewed biomedical journals. Articles are freely available via Open Access. Users may browse and view articles without registering, but free registration is required to search the journals. Click here for a list of the journals available through BioMed Central.

Expanded Academic ASAP (InfoTrac): 1995-Present
This first database listed in InfoTrac SearchBank indexes information on astronomy, religion, law, history, psychology, humanities, current events, sociology, communications, and general sciences. Some full-text is available. Updated daily. For an upgraded version of this database, use InfoTrac OneFile.

ProQuest: 1985-Present
Use this database to find information on general topics in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities as well as news about companies and current events. Some full-text and graphics are available.

PubMed Central:
PubMed Central is the U.S. National Library of Medicine's digital archive of life sciences journal literature. Access to PubMed Central is free and unrestricted.

Science Direct:
Search a database of electronic journals by a variety of publishers. Academic Press and selected Elsevier Science titles are available in full text.

Wilson Select Plus (FirstSearch):1993-Present
Search over 1,500 periodical abstracts and full-text articles from the following Wilson databases: Readers' Guide Abstracts, Social Sciences Abstracts, Humanities Abstracts, General Science Abstracts and Wilson Business Abstracts.

Biodiversity

Biodiversity Heritage Library
Ten major natural history museum libraries, botanical libraries, and research institutions joined together to form the Biodiversity Heritage Library Project. They are developing a strategy and operational plan to digitize the published literature of biodiversity held in their respective collections and make it available through a global “biodiversity commons.” The digitized texts are being archived here.
