people.” (USCCB)
All University of St. Francis students are invited to participate in University Ministry, to examine the lives of the university’s patrons, St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare and to model the four Franciscan values particular to USF: Respect, Integrity, Service and Compassion.
The framework of University Ministry is built upon four components:
Values Education "To emphasize ethical behavior and living for others, and to develop a capacity for critical and ethical judgment."
Community Service "To care for others and to accentuate the dignity of all the gospel people we meet."
Religious Programming "To assist people in developing all dimensions of themselves-intellectual, creative, emotional, moral, and spiritual."
Community Building "To enrich the total human personality by encouraging responsibility, maturity, reverence for truth, desire for excellence, knowledge of oneself and creation, and love for others."
