PhD in Musicology from Washington University in St. Louis in 1990.
Dissertation on Medieval Irish Chant

PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS:
Articles, papers and a book in progress on Music in Medieval
Ireland (Four Courts Press, Dublin).
Most recent publication: "Medieval Ireland: Music in Cathedral Church and Cloister," EARLY MUSIC, Oxford University Press, (May, 2000)
Founding member of Music in the Medieval Celtic Regions (MMCR) Research Group Sponsored and lead several student trips to Ireland.
Director of the Schola Cantorum, (the University Choir) and the Chamber Singers.
Teaches in USF's Core III program: Foundations of Western Thought
