Chemical magic show to celebrate National Chemistry Week

In celebration of National Chemistry Week, a chemical magic show will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the University of St. Francis in Joliet. The entire family is invited and refreshments, prizes and fun are guaranteed to this free program.

"Chemical Demonstrations Using Household Chemicals" will be presented by area school teachers in conjunction with members of the American Chemical Society-Joliet Section. The program will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the university’s Moser Performing Arts Center auditorium.

The University of St. Francis, at 500 Wilcox St., serves more than 4,300 students nationwide, including 1,800 at its Joliet campus.
