University of St. Francis honors employees for service
The
University of St. Francis in Joliet recognized
45 employees for years of service at the university's
annual employee recognition ceremony on Oct. 8.
USF President Michael Vinciguerra welcomed employees.
An
address to the employees, "A Shared Experience,"
was given by Allan Lundeen of Channahon, executive
director of academic and information support services.
The
following University of St. Francis employees
have celebrated 25 years of service: Linda Erickson
of Elwood, assistant professor of nursing; Karen
Harr of Shorewood, secretary, College of Health
Arts, Graduate and Professional Studies; Michael
LaRocco of Chicago, professor of business administration;
and Richard Lorenc of Joliet, associate professor
of mass communication.
Twenty
years of service was celebrated by Annette Tramel
of Joliet, Security Department desk worker; Isabel
Voitik of Joliet, records clerk, Registrar's Office;
and Anthony Zordan of Chicago, professor of accounting.
The
following were recognized for 15 years of service:
Daniel Hauser of Bolingbrook, professor of theology;
Annette Jelinek of Joliet, office manager for
Admission and Enrollment Services; Marvin Katilius-Boydstun
of Chicago, professor of English; Sister Rosemary
Small, OSF, of Joliet, vice president for mission
integration and ministry; and Suzanne Trousil
of Joliet, secretary, College of Undergraduate
Programs.

years of service was celebrated by Arni Arnthorsson
of Joliet, associate professor of business administration;
Jim Boyter of Joliet, director of athletic retention;
Jack Blatti of Joliet, maintenance; Marianne Curia
of Garden Homes, assistant professor of nursing;
Margaret Lewandowski of New Lenox, assistant professor
of nursing; Frances Mutz of Crest Hill, bookstore
bookkeeper; Terry Russell of Woodridge, professor
of Health Services, Graduate and Professional
Studies; Edward Soldan of Mokena, director of
enrollment information systems; Lynn Tapella of
Shorewood, Academic Resource Center secretary;
and Jean Vorva of Joliet, secretary Undergraduate
Admissions.
