University of St. Francis to welcome best-selling author Fr. Andrew Greeley
One of the most influential Catholic thinkers of our time and author of more than 50 best-selling novels, Fr. Andrew Greeley comes to the University of St. Francis straight from Rome where he participated in the funeral of Pope John Paul II and provided commentary for the selection of the new pope, Benedict XVI.
Greeley will discuss "The Religious Imagination" on Thursday, April 28 at the University of St. Francis in Joliet. As a priest, novelist, sociologist, professor and journalist, Greeley is poised on the edge of the ongoing debate over religious and ethical issues. He has attracted worldwide recognition through his more than 20 million books sold.
