Learn more about computer science career options from University of St. Francis alumni

The public is invited to learn more about the many career options in computer science, including in law enforcement, from two University of St. Francis alumni who will talk about their careers on Tuesday, March 27.

Jackie Falbo, who works for the Will County Police Department, and Jim Schuler, who works with the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, will talk about computer science career options in their fields. Falbo earned a bachelor’s degree in Technology Management from USF and Schuler earned a degree in Computer Science.

“These types of presentations are great for providing valuable information on possible career opportunities from people who are actually working in and experiencing the field,” said Ruth Weldon, professor of computer science and department co-chair at USF.

The presentation, which will allow time for questions, is at 7 p.m. in St. Albert’s Hall, located on USF’s main campus. For additional information, contact Weldon at (815)740.4286.
