USF’s Metlicka presents at teachers’ conference

Donna Metlicka, Instructor for the College of Education at the University of St. Francis presented at the Association of Teacher Educators (ATE) Summer Conference in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Aug. 7-11. Metlicka presented "Groupthink in Teacher Professional Development Delivered through Cohort Programs" which focuses on the results of research into the presence of "groupthink" in teacher professional development programs delivered in cohort settings. Metlicka holds an Ed. D. in Curriculum and is the elementary education coordinator for the University of St. Francis’ College of Education.

The University of St. Francis serves more than 4,300 students nationwide. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in education, including continuing education for teachers and administrators.
