Students can learn about educational options at University of St. Francis open house
A national leader in providing educational opportunities, the University of St. Francis offers programs that are immediately applicable to the work place and that help with career advancement. Transfer, graduate and nursing students can learn more about University of St. Francis programs and the many course delivery options available, including online, during an open house, Tuesday, Nov. 19.
For
the convenience of working adults, the Nov. 19
open house will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Students
will be able to learn about transferring credits,
financial aid and scholarship opportunities and
even apply and register for the spring semester,
according to Sheryl Paul, executive director of
admissions. USF counselors will provide credit
evaluations, she added.

USF
offers a variety of programs designed for adult
learners and transfer students, Paul noted. Undergraduate
credits can also be earned for previous education
and professional experience. Courses are offered
at a variety of convenient locations, online and
through faculty-directed study tutorials.
Three
bachelor degree completion programs are offered:
the bachelor of science in Applied Organizational
Management for business study; the R.N.-B.S.N.
Fast Track program for registered nurses with
a diploma or A.D.N.; and the bachelor of science
in Health Arts for health care professionals such
as nurses, radiologic technologists and dental
hygienists.
The
universitys graduate programs are designed
for working professionals. Classes are offered
at a variety of convenient locations and online.
Graduate programs include Nursing (M.S.N.), Health
Services Administration (M.S.), Business Administration
(M.B.A.), Training Management (M.S.), Training
Technology (M.S.), Management (M.S.), Education
(M.S.), Education with Certification (M.Ed.) and
Physician Assistant Studies (M.S., offered only
in Albuquerque, N.M.)
The University of St. Francis serves more than 4,300 students at locations nationwide and online, including 1,300 students at its main campus in Joliet.
