USF students inducted to recreation administration national honor society
Three University of St. Francis students were inducted into Rho Phi Lambda, the national honorary society for recreation, park and leisure majors.
To qualify for membership in Alpha Iota Chapter of Rho Phi Lambda, students must demonstrate evidence of academic excellence in scholarship and have a substantial record of leadership and service to the community, department and/or university. Advisor to the USF Alpha Iota Chapter of Rho Phi Lambda, chartered in 1998, is Lyle L. Hicks, chair, Recreation, Sport and Tourism Management Department.
Inductees are Jayson Povalish of Braidwood, Patricia Panagiotopoulos of Joliet and Christopher Strietz of Joliet.
The University of St. Francis, in Joliet, serves 4,100 students nationwide with 60 areas of undergraduate study and 13 graduate programs.
