WCSF 88.7 FM brings Spirit of Christmas—24/7—to area

Listen to holiday music, commercial-free, 24 hours a day from Thanksgiving through New Year’s with Spirit of Christmas on WCSF 88.7 FM, the student-run radio station at the University of St. Francis.

More than 200,000 listeners in the greater Will County area listen to Spirit of Christmas, now in its 13th year. Christmas classics, music from the big band era and children’s songs will be featured as well as gospel interpretations, vocal instrumental arrangements and contemporary holiday music. Local choirs and bands may also be heard.

Look for Spirit of Christmas at the Light Up the Holidays Festival and Parade in downtown Joliet at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25.

Listeners can also tune in to the station 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the Internet. To listen live online, go to the Spirit of Christmas homepage at http://www.stfrancis.edu/wcsf/spirit and click on the "listen live" button. Listeners may also call in requests at selected times.
