Track and Field athletes invited to learn more about USF program

The University of St. Francis track and field teams are looking for well-rounded athletes who have positive attitudes and a desire to get a great education.

Interested high school junior and senior athletes, along with students interested in transferring from other colleges or universities, can learn more about University of St. Francis track and field programs at an open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3. All interested men and women are welcome and invited to the open house where students will also learn about admission requirements and enjoy a campus tour.

“Come meet the team, the coaches and fellow athletes to discuss USF’s new track and field program.  This is a great opportunity for students to take their athletic ability to the next level,” said head coach Drew Ludtke.

USF men’s track and field program will start in the fall of 2007.  USF women’s track and field program is an existing program that is always interested quality athletes.

“If you still have your options open for college, desire a close knit atmosphere, enjoy bettering yourself mentally and physically, then come out and visit us at the University of St. Francis,” said Jeff Chiapello, assistant coach, and freshman admissions counselor.
