Emily Marten

Hometown: Raymond, Illinois
As a biology fellow, Emily has been helping
Dr. Bromer, biology professor, with data imput and analysis of research,
organizing Dr. Bromer’s collection of scientific journals into a data base.
She also assists with Earth Science labs and tutors students in Biology
and Earth Science. She enjoys the fellows program because she is learning
the scientific process as well as taking an active role in the university
community by working with professors and fellow students. These experiences
will help her gain direction for what to do when she graduates from USF.
In her free time, Emily enjoys hiking,
hanging out in the Kirk Center, and helping Deanne beat Hadyn in Scrabble.
