A View from Junior High
As a part of the 1999 Eisenhower Grant: Getting to Y.E.S. ( Youth Enriched
Science), groups of teachers became students of the Midewin National Tallgrass
Prairie. For two weeks we studied the plant life and animal species
located in this prairie. We have included some examples of the biodiversity
of this vast unrestored area.
