JAMSCEEP is a Joliet Junior College sponsored program funded by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. We encourage "high potential" junior high and senior high students from Illinois Community College District # 525 to apply.

ACADEMIC YEAR AND SUMMER COMPONENTS
JAMSCEEP features a 24-week Saturday program during the academic year and a six-week summer workshop designed to strengthen academic and career planning skills through class instruction. Careers are designed to include:
Math
Computer Science
Natural and Physical Science
Engineering
JAMSCEEP OBJECTIVES
- Assess, assist, strengthen, and monitor academic skills
- Develop career planning goals and strategies
- Promote critical thinking, social, and communication skills
- Increase parental involvement in their child's educational career
- Provide positive role models including tutors and peer mentors

Admission Requirements
- Principal, counselor, teacher, or community
member referral
- Completed JAMSCEEP application
- Grade Point Average of 2.5 (C+) or higher
- Possess high achievement motivation
