NANCY BENSFIELD- has taught seventh and eighth grade math, science and social studies at Christ the King School for the past three years.
"The answers to many of our ecological problems lie in the prairie."
LARRY LOTTINO- has taught social studies and will be teaching science at Hufford Junior High School. He has taught a total of twenty-one years.

DENISE MAFFEO- has taught science and fifth grade for the past nine years at Saint Paul the Apostle School.
"The prairie is a page of living history. It is exciting to think that our children will be able to see the prairie as our ancestors did."
LAURIE MARUSAK- has been teaching learning disabled students for one year in Joliet Public Schools and will be teaching seventh grade science at Channahon Junior High School.
"Our generation has been given a great opportunity to preserve a part of our past and pass it on to our future generations."
TRICIA NAGEL- has been teaching science for the past eight years and will be teaching science and eighth grade homeroom at Peotone Junior High School.
"Prairies are a very important aspect in our lives. It teaches us how important small things are to the whole network of life."
BERNADETTE PLESE- has been teaching science at Saint Rose School for eleven years and will also be teaching sixth grade homeroom.
