NANCY
BENSFIELD- has taught
seventh and eighth grade math, science and social studies at Christ the
King School for the past three years.

LARRY
LOTTINO- has taught social
studies and will be teaching science at Hufford Junior High School.
He has taught a total of twenty-one years.

DENISE
MAFFEO- has taught science
and fifth grade for the past nine years at Saint Paul the Apostle School.
"The
prairie is a page of living history. It is exciting to think that
our children will be able to see the prairie as our ancestors did."
LAURIE
MARUSAK- has been teaching
learning disabled students for one year in Joliet Public Schools and will
be teaching seventh grade science at Channahon Junior High School.
"Our
generation has been given a great opportunity to preserve a part of our
past and pass it on to our future generations."
TRICIA
NAGEL- has been teaching
science for the past eight years and will be teaching science and eighth
grade homeroom at Peotone Junior High School.
"Prairies
are a very important aspect in our lives. It teaches us how important
small things are to the whole network of life."
BERNADETTE
PLESE- has been teaching
science at Saint Rose School for eleven years and will also be teaching
sixth grade homeroom.

Midewin Natural Tallgrass Prairie will be our gift to our children."
