University of St. Francis nursing faculty members Assistant Professor Dr. Annette Mattea, DNP, MSN, RN, APN/CCNS (Joliet) and Associate Professor Dr. Lola Prince, PhD, RN, APN, FNP-BC (Naperville) have both been selected to receive a Nurse Educator Fellowship Award from the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Each will be awarded $10,000, to be used for expenses related to professional development and continuing education. Dr. Mattea and Dr. Prince were two of 22 distinguished educators selected for this fellowship in Illinois this year.

 

 

The Nurse Educator Fellowship Program is in its eighth year, and during its time, has awarded a total of 117 fellowships. USF faculty members Assistant Professor Dr. Bertha Paul, DNP, MSN, RN and Assistant Professor Dr. Doris VanByssum, PSY.D., PMHNP-BC, MS, RN are past recipients.
