Gary Reinke

Welcome. My name is Gary Reinke and I am an adjunct instructor
for USF. I have taught over 200 college courses in both undergraduate
and graduate institutions. I have taught on-site and online courses
in four countries and six states. I teach courses in the areas of
Business Management, Quality, Marketing, Economics, Operations,
Logistics and Environmental Sciences. I have also performed management
seminars in Europe and Middle East.
In my non-teaching life, I was a Ford Motor Company executive with
extensive experience in the areas of Operations, Quality, Business
Planning, Marketing and Sales. The personal experiences of working
in many countries, states and areas, have given me bountiful examples
and illustrations to share with adult learners.

I received various awards in the automotive industry for work performed.
I was directly responsible for achieving the first Ford Motor Company
Quality award for a plant operation in Mexico. I was also awarded
a Life Saving Award from both Ford and the State of Florida for a
man's life that I saved in the Atlantic Ocean. I am humbled by the
awards and proud of the achievements.
I recently retired from Ford and have dedicated more time to family.
My wife and I have a real estate investment company and we rent
properties, remodel, buy and sell real estate. I have recorded songs
I have written, and continue to write and sing for friends and family.
Now to the "good stuff". Belinda and I have been married
for 31 years. Being a Wisconsin farm boy and Belinda a Tennessee
native, we married less than a month after we met. Some may call
that fast, but I knew Belinda was the girl for me. Our two daughters
are as pretty and charming as their mother. Melina is a housewife
with two gorgeous children - Hayley is 5 and Will is 3. Amy is a
married and a business consultant with much traveling in her work.
Our grandkids keep us young, worn out and full of love. We all live
within a few miles so we are fortunate to see our families often.
The USF online program is a wonderful mix of great adult learners,
a caring administrative staff and a sharing faculty. The program
is well designed for assistance, guidance and interaction. I truly
love the online format because of the following:
1) instantaneous involvement with learner and instructor
2) responding to each other with varying view points which results
in interaction of class members
3) the flexibility of learner and instructor to learn and accommodate
a traveling work life
4) group and individual assignments can be challenging and satisfying
when performing team and personal work.
We are truly blessed to be working at USF.
My motto in life is "People don't care how much you know
until they know how much you care".
