Resources for Teachers

Through the JPDSP, University of St. Francis faculty and Partnering School faculty may apply for and receive Programming Project Requests for action research projects, professional development conferences, workshops, seminars, or materials that will further the mission of the JPDSP. Programming Project Requests will vary in size and actual amounts awarded will be based on need. Decisions made are at the discretion of the Programming Project Requests Approval Committee. All PDS teachers are eligible to use the databases which include a large selection of full-text articles. This should serve as a significant resource for action research projects and other professional development.

To access the databases go to:

http://www.stfrancis.edu/lib/libindex.htm

To acquire the "username" and "password", or to ask questions regarding the databases, contact the library reference desk at (815) 740-5041.

JPDSP Sign-in Sheet (word document)

To assist ACI and OER (Federal Grant Evaluators) in assessing the work done by JPDSP, USF furnishes documentation of meetings and events held, attendees, and a brief description of the actual event. The main means of documentation is the use of the JPDSP Sign-in Sheets.

A sign-in sheet should be completed for each event, noting a brief Event Description, location, date, and time. Each participant should print their name as well as sign the sheet, note their birth day & month, and indicate the partner institution they represent.

Do not fill in the Activity Category #, Activity Name, or New blanks; these are for data entry use only.

The sheet can be submitted to Barb Ingold in the College of Education.
