NOTE: If you are beginning your LBSI Grade-Range Specific endorsement with the University of St. Francis, it is highly recommended that candidates begin with course EEND 640 followed in sequence by course EEND 642 and EEND 644.

EEND 640: Development and Characteristics of Individuals with Special Needs (3 credit hours)

EEND 642: Assessment and Diagnosis in Special Education (3 credit hours)
Option 1 January 16 – March 13 | online

EEND 644: Specialized Curriculum and Methods in Special Education (3 credit hours)
Option 1 January 16 – March 13 | online
Option 2 March 6 – May 1 | online
Option 3 February 13 – March 29 | blended*
*Course meets face-to-face on Wednesdays (2/15, 3/1, 3/15, and 3/29) 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. at USF Main Campus with additional assignments and work completed online.

The following course MAY be required if not previously completed during undergraduate or other graduate degree programs. Transcript evaluation may be used to determine completion of this course. **PLEASE NOTE** USF is not able to perform transcript review or confirm acceptance of previously completed coursework in advance of request for entitlement. Candidates may visit their local ROE or request assistance from the college/university where the course was completed to see if it meets requirement as outlined by ISBE.
