REAL Drop Request

The drop process must be completed online using our self-service option – drop requests via phone or email are not accepted
 

Failure to drop a course by the applicable drop date may result in financial liability, a failing grade, and a university account hold preventing future registration or release of student records such as transcripts.

Drop requests for courses running eight weeks (or longer) must be submitted by 4 p.m. on the fifth business day (M-F) of the course to receive a refund of tuition paid/owed for the course. 

Drop requests for accelerated format courses running less than eight weeks must be dropped on or before the first day of the course to receive a full refund of tuition paid/owed for the course.

Drop requests for courses offered in partnership with TIDE through the DuPage Regional Office of Education are subject to current TIDE policies as noted on their website.

No refund is offered to students withdrawing after the start of class. A $40.00 fee will be charged if cancellation is made seven or fewer working days prior to the first class.
