Courses
The major in Recreation Administration includes a combination of courses from the core curriculum and a specialization track of the students’ choosing. The combined major coursework is a total of 63-67 semester hours.

Two minor/certificate programs are also available. The minor/certificate in Recreation and Sport Administration is available to non-majors and post-baccalaureate students seeking specialized training in the recreation profession. An interdisciplinary minor/certificate in Youth Development trains majors, non-majors, and post-baccalaureate students to serve as youth workers in the human service professions.
