Security Office

The Security Office is staffed 24 hours a day / 365 days a year. Campus Security is dispatched through the main Switchboard. The Campus Safety & Security Office issues parking permits, university vehicles, oversees lost & found, locker registration, monitoring of video surveillance systems, and staffs switchboard.

Switchboard Operator

The Switchboard is accessible 24 hours a day / 365 days a year. It includes services such as University operator, Campus Safety dispatch, alarm monitoring and other communications capabilities. Switchboard operators work all shifts, weekends, holidays, administrative closure days, and inclement weather days. All calls for non-emergency assistance (lock-outs, unlocks, etc.) are to be x3847.

Student Security Officers

In addition to our Professional staff, security officers, the department maintains a force of student security officers who wear blue uniforms and carry two-way radios. Their assignments include routing patrol duties of buildings and grounds and various traffic details.

Campus "HOUSE PHONES"

There are several house telephones located in the common areas of campus buildings that my be used to report emergencies. Emergencies may be reported on any campus "HOUSE PHONE". Please dial the switchboard operator giving the nature and location of the emergency.

Lost & Found

The Campus Safety & Security Department had a depository for lost and found items. Should you discover an item of personal property belonging to another, or wish to retrieve an item, please contact the Campus Safety & Security Office at x3847 during normal business hours.

I.D. Cards

All students, faculty & staff are required to get a University of St. Francis identification card which may be obtained from the Student Services department. The card must be presented at the college dining center, and at the library when borrowing books.

Locker Registration Information

How to get a locker on campus:

  • Get a locker registration card, which is available at the Campus Safety & Security Office

  • Buy a lock

  • Pick a locker

  • Fill out a registration card

  • Put the lock on the locker

  • Turn in the filled out registration card to the Campus Safety & Security Office

LOCKER LOCATION

Lockers are available on first floor of Tower Hall, in the Commuter Student Lounge, next to the Barnes & Noble bookstore.
