Admission to the Basic BSN Program

Incoming Freshman Students Apply Here

Adult and Transfer Students Apply Here

Admission to the College of Nursing major is a two step process:
admission to the University, followed by admission to the nursing major. Students
are admitted to the nursing major during both the fall and spring semesters.

Admission to the University for incoming Freshman students pursuing nursing as a
major is the same as for all students seeking admission. See our admission web site
for details. High school students should submit their applications during their senior
year. Transfer students anticipating enrollment as a nursing major should contact
the Nursing and Allied Health Admissions Office as early in the lower division coursework
process as possible in order to ensure taking the appropriate prerequisites. Transfer
students should also submit an application for admission and have all official transcripts
forwarded to the Nursing and Allied Health Admissions Office. An evaluation of credits will
then be completed, identifying deficiencies in the courses required for admission to the
nursing major.
