University of St. Francis clubs, organizations and activities are designed with the varied interests of our students in mind. We know that college is much more than your classroom experience. It is about providing opportunities to expand your horizons, and exercise your mind and body. Take a

| AFTERMATH is the University of St. Francis Mathematical Society. Its mission is to foster mathematical pursuits of recreational, educational, informational, and social nature for the USF community. Any USF student may become a member, and as a member in good standing is expected to attend its meetings consistently, as well as support its activities. |
RECREATION CLUB enhances recreational and educational opportunities in order for each individual to become aware of personal growth through leisure. |
| COLLEGE REPUBLICANS is a club that offers students a forum to discuss political issues and/or current events. Affiliation with a political party is not required for membership. |
STUDENT NURSES ORGANIZATION (SNO) assists students in the development of self-direction and responsibility and provides a channel of communication between students and faculty. |
| COUNCIL FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND SCIENTIFIC AWARENESS provides interested students the opportunity to participate in university and environmentally related activities. The activities planned by the CESA are both fun and beneficial to the environment and the community. |
SOCIAL WORK CLUB strives to promote professionalism and educational programs and seminars to its members. The club works to increase awareness of the social work field in the University community and to the general public. |
| COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL ACTIVISM promotes awareness of the injustices that exist in the local, national and global community. |
SOMETIMES THESPIANS adhere and support the mission of the University. The group professes a positive attitude: to build spirit, to challenge students who are interested in theatre to work as a team with all participants and to offer students another opportunity for involvement and community enrichment. |
| THE ENCOUNTER provides the university community with news, features, sports, and entertainment in the form of a twice monthly newspaper. |
STUDENT BUSINESS ASSOCIATION is composed of students who have an interest in some aspect of the business profession. The association’s purpose is to give each member a greater insight into the business world. |
| THE BLACK STUDENT ASSOCIATION was formed to support its students of African American heritage and to celebrate the various elements of their African American culture. The membership maintains a commitment to supporting the Joliet community thru volunteerism; and to promote the ideology of higher education and critical thinking. |
UNIDOS VAMOS ALCANZAR (UNITED WE WILL ACHIEVE) is dedicated to preserving and advancing Latin- American culture and serves as a support network for students of Latino descent at USF. |
| FUTURE EDUCATORS OF AMERICA is open to education majors and people interested in the education field. The club sponsors guest speakers, field trips, and lunch meetings. |
UNTOUCHABLE SAINTS is a dance club that is dedicated to exploring interest in modern and hip-hop dance. This club seeks to provide entertainment at events for the USF community. |
| THE LOQUITUR spotlights the literary and artistic talents of students in the form of a magazine. All students may participate. |
USF - TV CLUB offers an opportunity for students interested in the broadcasting arts to learn and work at an operating television station. Club members are responsible for the station’s growth and success. Through responsible programming, WCSF-TV is part of the information, persuasion, entertainment, and communication network of the University. |
MOCK TRIAL CLUB is a vehicle through which students learn, through first hand experience, about the roles that lawyers and witnesses play in the American legal system, and offers competition in a trial format to achieve team and individual recognition as attorneys and/or witnesses. |
USF DESIGN GROUP is a club that functions as an advertising/PR/graphic design agency. It is a diverse club, with students in business, marketing, public relations, mass communication, graphic design, fine arts, and computer science majors. It is open to anyone who has an interest in being creative. The group creates logos, flyers, posters, banners, brochures, etc., as well as marketing plans, events, and public relations campaigns for clients both with the university and beyond. It is great for portfolio and resume building, as well as a great deal of fun. |
| PRO-LIFE GROUP is dedicated to exploring and studying pro-life issues and promoting respect for life through educational events for the USF community. |
WCSF 88.7 FM RADIO CLUB offers an opportunity for students interested in the broadcasting arts to learn and work at an operating radio station. The Radio Club also offers a means of communication to students, University employees and the Joliet community. |
| PSYCHOLOGY CLUB fosters understanding and stimulates interest in the discipline of psychology. The club is a source of information about the field and provides information on internships, and volunteer opportunities. This group also hosts informative speakers. |
