The exhibit, Occupant 608, is a survey of work by current USF Department of Visual Arts adjunct faculty. Artworks include: drawings, paintings, prints, sculpture, and site-specific installation. The content addresses a wide range of subject matter. Conceptual images that deal with chances and collage, sculptural assemblages that question political power and deviance, re-examination of early 20th century avant-garde portraiture, sexuality and parody, and magical realism that looks at the horrors of war through an eschewed and eclectic eye offer the audience a chance to encounter remarkably diverse faculty investigations.
