Jessica Pignotti earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2000 and her Master of Fine Arts in 2003 from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Her art work follows the more traditional scope of painterly realism. She takes intimate interiors and everyday objects as subjects for her paintings and fills them with rich psychological mysteries and sometimes humor.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries on the East Coast as well as the Midwest, most recently in Lawrence, Kansas.
