ART & DESIGN SENIOR THESIS EXHIBITION

Join us for an evening of art, celebrating graduating seniors Danielle Conrad, Yifan Mao, Jose Ortiz, Joey Santillo, Amber Shibley, Ashlee Stevens, and Shannon Walker.

BARBARA EBERHARD: ALTERNATIVE VIEW
On exhibit: July 17 – August 25, 2017
Closing Reception: Friday, August 25, 6-8 p.m.


Eberhard is a practicing artist in the Chicagoland area, specializing in gum bichromate, an alternative photographic process. During the closing reception, join us for drinks and refreshments while we mix and mingle with the artist!

FOCUS: HAMILTON, ISACSON, SEVENER & SULLIVAN-ISACSON
On exhibit: September 5 – October 12
Artist Lecture: Thursday, September 7, 10 a.m.


FOCUS features the artwork of Carol Hamilton, Joe Isacson, Jeffrey Sevener, and Kathleen Sullivan Isacson. The show is an exploration into the concept of ‘focus’ from the creative perspective. Join USF Art Gallery and artist Kathleen Sullivan Isacson for an intimate look at the current exhibition during the Artist Lecture on September 7.

Chris Hodge is currently an art teacher in the Midwest. He holds a Bachelor’s in Art Education, a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership & Administration from North Central College.

ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL ART COMPETITION
On exhibit: January 9 – January 23, 2018
RECEPTION & AWARDS: Saturday, January 20, 2018, noon-2 p.m

The USF Gallery presents the 2016-17 University of St. Francis Art & Design Department Illinois High School Art Competition & Exhibition. The exhibit will span through the university’s gallery and the 3rd and 4th floors of the Art Department and include works of art from Illinois high school students.

Cash awards for first, second and third place and scholarship winners will be announced at the public reception, Saturday, January 20, 2018, noon-2 p.m. The university is also hosting a portfolio review for exhibiting students. There will be cash prizes for first, second, third and honorable mention(s).
