KINDRED SPIRITS:
RECENT WORK BY KATHIE SHAW & COREY POSTIGLIONE

February 3–March 20, 2019
Artist’s Lecture & Reception: TBA

Corey Postiglione and Kathie Shaw have been fortunate to share a studio together for ten years where they can interact around the practice of making paintings. While they are in the process of making their paintings, they share ideas on all sorts of topics, not least of which is what motivates the other’s work. They share ideas about technique as well as thoughts regarding the “why” behind what they are doing. Their art practice has in this way been a collaborative effort, and as a consequence is essential and important to both.
