Campus Life, Activities & Entertainment

University of St. Francis offers more than 30 clubs and organizations in which students can become involved. Participating is a great way to learn more about a particular interest and meet new friends! Some examples of the clubs and organizations on campus are: Student Business Association, Radio Club, Student Activities Board, International Student Community, or Psychology Club.

International Club is for all USF students to participate, but is strongly recommended for any international students. Our goal is to promote international awareness across campus. It is a good opportunity to meet people from the different parts of the world and spend time together by learning about different cultures through on campus events and activities as well as cultural excursion off-campus.

Below is a list of some of our events:

  • Greek Festival
  • Trip to Fogo de Chao and the Festival of lights
  • Polonia Festival
  • Ice Skating in Chicago
  • International Movie Nights

USF students can also be a part of intramural athletics. Intramurals are ideal if you are not interested in competing at the varsity level, but are interested in staying active.

There are many different events and speakers on campus during each semester. USF students have the opportunity to attend at little to no cost. Here are some examples of presentations made on campus recently: Barack Obama, Blake Mycoskie (TOMS Shoes), Arun Gandhi (grandson of Mohandas Gandhi), Margaret Stender (President and CEO of WNBA Chicago Sky), David Cook (concert).
