Service is one of the four core values at the University of St. Francis. This spirit of service lives in our alumni. Each year, hundreds alumni volunteer to serve the university either on a board, at alumni events or programs, by way of student internships, promotion on social media, and more. Whether you’re looking for a way to give of your time and talents on campus, at work, or from your home, find your inspiration right here.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an important part of the success of many of our events including Breakfast with Santa, Easter Eggstravaganza and commencement (May & December). Volunteers serve at registration tables, hand out T-shirts and more. For more information, please visit www.stfrancis.edu/alumni/alumni-events/.

Volunteers make Homecoming & Reunion Weekend possible. This weekend typically falls within the last three weekends in September and includes a tailgate and football game, various receptions, Mass, and an annual brunch. Volunteers work registration tables, coordinate event check-in, greet and usher, hand out T-shirts, pin on corsages, and more. For more information: www.stfrancis.edu/alumni/hcrw.

Programs include our Student Alumni Network (SAM) and other alumni networksDinner with Saints, the Alumni Speakers Bureau, phone calls to fellow alumni and much more.

The Alumni Association Board of Directors are selected to represent our diverse alumni base. In existence since 1933, the board is the governing body of the Alumni Association. Its role is to support and advise the university through the Alumni Office.

Volunteers will assist with freshman move-in, student orientations, and other student-related events.

Whether you choose to recommend a promising student, make phone calls to prospective students, host a summer send-off party for incoming freshmen, or represent the University of St. Francis at local high schools and college fairs, the admissions staff would welcome your assistance via our Alumni Ambassador Corps.

Volunteers will assist with the Career Connections program, the annual Career Fair, hosting student interns, and more.

Volunteers will serve as social media ambassadors for Day of Giving, assist with thank you calls, and assist with the identification of funding sources.
