Volunteers are an important part of the success of many of our events including Breakfast with Santa, Easter Eggstravaganza and commencement (May & December). Volunteers make Homecoming & Reunion Weekend possible. This weekend typically falls within the last three weekends in September and includes a tailgate and football game, various receptions, Mass, and an annual brunch. The Alumni Association Board of Directors are selected to represent our diverse alumni base. In existence since 1933, the board is the governing body of the Alumni Association. Its role is to support and advise the university through the Alumni Office.
Volunteers will assist with freshman move-in, student orientations, and other student-related events.
Whether you choose to recommend a promising student, make phone calls to prospective students, host a summer send-off party for incoming freshmen, or represent the University of St. Francis at local high schools and college fairs, the admissions staff would welcome your assistance via our Alumni Ambassador Corps.
Volunteers will assist with the Career Connections program, the annual Career Fair, hosting student interns, and more.
Volunteers will serve as social media ambassadors for Day of Giving, assist with thank you calls, and assist with the identification of funding sources.
