Financial Literacy Week Programs at USF on April 1-5

The Financial Research and Education through Experience (FREE) student club at USF will offer a weeklong “lunch and learn” financial literacy workshop series from Monday, April 1- Friday, April 5, 2019. The series is free and open to the public– including all USF students and employees. All sessions will take place in Tower Hall, which is located on the main USF campus at 500 Wilcox Street in Joliet.

The workshop series includes:

  • Introduction to Financial Literacy: Budgeting
    Monday, April 1 from 12:15-1:30 p.m. | Tower Hall N309

  • Understanding Your Credit Score
    Tuesday, April 2 from 12:15-1:30 p.m. | Tower Hall N309
    (Workshop facilitator is Edon Shaqiri ’11 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch.)
  • Choosing a Credit Card that’s Right for You
    Wednesday, April 3 from 12:15-1:30 p.m. | Tower Hall N309

  • Making Taxes 1040EZ
    Thursday, April 4 from 2:45-4:15 p.m. | Tower Hall N225
    (Workshop facilitators are David Santay, Madison Canady and Sebastian Thurner.)
  • Financing Your Dream Purchase
    Friday, April 5 from 12:15-1:30 p.m. | Tower Hall N309
