USF Ranked by College Consensus and Online MBA Today

College Consensus, a unique college ratings website that aggregates publisher rankings and student reviews, has published several rankings which included the University of St. Francis in prominent positions on the lists.

The most recent ranking includes USF among the Best Regional Universities in the Midwest for 2018. The University of St. Francis was ranked 5th out of 98 schools. To identify the best Midwest regional universities, College Consensus combined the latest results from the most respected college rankings with thousands of real student reviews to produce a unique consensus score for each school. These rankings are issued to help prospective college students and their families evaluate the educational options open to them.

“We know students have many different educational options, so this type of ranking means a lot to us. It shows people how much effort and time our faculty and staff put into the delivery of valuable educational experiences,” said Eric Wignall, USF’s vice president for admissions, enrollment and marketing.

Equally as impressive, USF was also recently honored among the top 20 Catholic colleges in the U.S., ranking 18th out of 127 in College Consensus’ Best Catholic Colleges and Universities ranking, and the 160th best college, nation-wide, in the publication’s Best Colleges ranking.

Another organization, Online MBA Today, included USF in it’s listing of Top Online MBA Programs in Illinois. University of St. Francis was ranked #7 overall based on factors like affordability, accreditation and prestige. The university’s College of Business & Health Administration was recently re-accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The new accreditation will last ten years.

Said Wignall, “I am extremely proud that USF is being recognized again. The University of St. Francis is known for being a high quality, Catholic university that truly measures up as one of the best universities in the country. Our faculty and staff efforts show up in these rankings and they are a signal to students and families that we are delivering top-notch bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs.”
