USF Professor Hosts Our Lady of Fatima Presentation

The University of St. Francis (USF) College of Education, in partnership with the university’s Department of Theology and Philosophy, invites the public to the presentation “The Day the Sun Danced: 100 Years after Our Lady Appeared in Fatima.” The event will take place Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in San Damiano Hall, located in the Motherhouse at USF’s main campus, 500 Wilcox Street, Joliet. USF professor Dr. Madonna Murphy will present.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima. Murphy will examine the appearance and the many questions it presents. In addition, she will explain how to obtain the special Fatima Indulgence on the anniversary of this apparition. Rosaries will be provided to all those who participate.
