WCSF-FM to Host Music-Themed Rummage Sale

WCSF-FM 88.7, the radio station of the University of St. Francis, will hold its third annual Mega Music Rummage Sale on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will take place at a new location this year – the University of St Francis’ St. Clare Campus (Guardian Angel Hall/Dillard Center) – which is located at 1550 Plainfield Road in Joliet, Illinois.

The student-run radio station has been collecting donations of used and collectible music and memorabilia including, but not limited to:

  • WCSF 88.7 FM will hold its annual rummage sale at its St. Clare Campus, 1550 Plainfield Road in Joliet.

    Thousands of Vinyl 33s, 45s and 78s

  • Compact discs
  • 8-tracks, reel-to-reels and cassettes
  • VHS tapes and DVDs
  • Sheet music and music books
  • Professional and home audio equipment
  • Musical instruments
  • Music memorabilia

For months, students have been organizing and cataloguing the treasures for the sale. Admission to the event during its scheduled time is free of charge. Early bird admission at 7:30 a.m. is a $20 donation. Prices begin at 25 cents. All proceeds will be used to upgrade the nonprofit radio station facilities and equipment.
