USF nursing reunion planned

Alumni from the University of St. Francis (USF) nursing programs are invited to a reunion brunch on Saturday, March 1. Alumni include those who graduated from the University of St. Francis, Saint Joseph College of Nursing and the Saint Joseph School of Nursing.

Begun in 1920, nursing is one of the oldest programs at USF and is now also one of the largest with 901 students, including 485 online students throughout the country, according to Carol Wilson, dean of USF’s Cecily & John Leach College of Nursing.

USF has more than 3,000 nursing alumni. Graduates are invited to the Nursing Reunion Brunch to renew friendships and professional networks, said Donna Eakle, Alumni Relations manager. The event, from 10 a.m. to noon, will include brunch, a presentation on nursing programs today and a tour of the Leach College of Nursing facilities.

The Reunion Brunch is complimentary, but reservations are required. For reservations or information, contact (877) 811-2586 or Register online at
