USF Presents Spring Musical

0313 Spring Musical Putnam CountyThe University of St. Francis Music & Performing Arts Department, together with “Saints on Stage,” will present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” Thursday, March 21 through Saturday, March 23. All performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Turk Studio Theater, located in the Moser Performing Arts Center, 500 Wilcox Street, Joliet.

This production, with music and lyrics by William Finn (book by Rachel Sheinkin), is part of the university’s Music at Moser series. The cast includes Jim Batis ’86 (Joliet), Marisa DiBennardi (Evergreen Park), Robert Dunlap (Manhattan), Julian Jankowski (Plainfield), Philipa Kerr (Joliet) and Sarah Sheehan (Frankfort), and several other students and members of the local community will be contributing. Tickets can be reserved and purchased online at www.stfrancis.edu/music-at-moser. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors (65+), alumni and non-USF students. USF students and staff will be admitted free with their university ID.
