USF online programs for veterans in top 100 nationwide

University of St Francis (USF) programs have been named in the top 100 nationwide in U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 Best Online Programs for Veterans ranking. USF’s online graduate business programs for veterans were ranked the best in Illinois.

U.S. News & World Report, publisher of Best Colleges for Veterans and Best Online Programs, released the 2015 Best Online Programs for Veterans on usnews.com. The rankings, released May 19 identify 737 programs that provide veterans with high-quality, flexible online education options. The Best Online Programs for Veterans are designed to help veterans balance applying, paying for and completing a degree, on top of their work and family commitments

The 2015 Best Online Programs for Veterans includes rankings for online bachelor’s programs and online master’s degree programs in business, education, engineering, nursing and computer information technology. New this year, U.S. News ranked online MBA programs and graduate criminal justice programs for veterans. To be ranked, programs also had to be among the top 75 percent of schools in the overall 2015 Best Online Programs rankings, which were released earlier this year. Those programs were assessed for various factors, including affordability, faculty credentials, student services and reputation.

The University of St. Francis was listed in the 2015 U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 Best Online Programs for Veterans as follows:

  • In the Best Online Graduate Business Programs for Veterans, USF was ranked 42nd, the highest ranking for any Illinois university or college. In the Graduate MBA Programs for Veteran’s listing, USF ranked at 100.
  • Online Graduate Nursing programs at USF were ranked 55th.
  • USF was ranked 70th in the Best Online Graduate Education Programs for Veterans.
  • USF ranked 96th in the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans.
