USF opens Miami site

The University of St. Francis (USF) will showcase its programs for adult learners at an open house, Thursday, Nov. 6 at its new Miami location.

For more than 40 years, USF has offered programs designed specifically to meet the needs of adult learners, including convenient class times, according to Chris Clott, dean of the university’s College of Business and Health Administration. USF programs for adults focus on learning experiences that can be applied to the workplace, he added.

The open house will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the university’s new site at Christ Center Church, 6750 Sunset Dr., Suite 2, Miami.

Adult students at USF can expect personal attention by counselors who will help students create an education plan that leads to successful degree completion and supports their career goals, said Clott.

Programs offered at the new USF location include the bachelor of science in Health Care Leadership and the master of science in Health Services Administration. A bilingual MBA with core courses offered in Spanish and concentration courses in English will also be offered.

Clott, along with counselors and location coordinator Mario Garcia, will be available to answer questions about the bachelor’s degree, degree-completion and graduate programs that are offered by USF at the Miami site or online.
