Course Requirements for 30+ Total Program Hours

Take 18+ Hours of Concentration/Elective Credits
Candidates choose from one of the following concentrations:

    Best Practices (18 hours)
    Bilingual Education (18 hours)
    Differentiated Instruction (18 hours)
    Educational Technology (18 hours)
    Health Education (18 hours)
    Reading (18-24 hours)
    Special Education LBSI PreK – Age 21 (19-26 hours)
    TESOL Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (18 hours)

 
Candidates may use up to 18 hours of graduate credit previously earned through REAL at University of St. Francis (prefix EEND, REAL, REND) toward the M.S. Teaching and Learning degree.
 
Take 12 Hours of Core Course Credits
The following core courses are required for all candidates in the program:

MSED 608 Cultural Awareness (1 hour)

MSED 609 Service Learning (1 hour)

MSED 610 Methods of Educational Research (3 hours)

MSED 620 Data-Driven Decision Making (3 hours)

MSED 650 Designing Effective Instruction (3 hours)

MSED 693 Using Domains to Frame Instruction (1 hour)
