Joliet Symphony Orchestra: Fate & Destiny

Enjoy an extra-special performance as violinist Rebekah Cope-Evers and cellist Patricia White join the JSO for “Fate & Destiny.” The concert features Johannes Brahms’ unique Double Concerto in a minor alongside Hector Berlioz’s exuberant Hungarian March and Ludwig van Beethoven’s ever-popular Symphony No. 5 in c minor. Come 45 minutes early to learn more about the music during our “Noteworthy” pre-concert chats with Artistic Director & Conductor Sean Paul Mills and guests! Get tickets here.

Giving Tuesday

If you have ever wanted to support the pursuit of a higher education for students at the University of St. Francis, you have the opportunity to do so on December 2—a day known globally as “Giving Tuesday.” Join your fellow Saints worldwide as they come together to celebrate USF students and encourage giving to the university! The Lighting of the Creche
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.
We hope you’ll join us in the Motherhouse courtyard near the Quad for the lighting and blessing of the crèche (nativity scene), festive drinks and treats, and photos with Santa! Everyone will have the opportunity to take their own pictures at this free, nonticketed event, after the blessing of the crèche. Registration is required by CLICKING HERE.

Christmas at the Motherhouse

St. Joseph Chapel (Motherhouse)
USF’s Claritas Master Chorale will be joined by other University of St. Francis and community musicians to present the university’s annual “Christmas at the Motherhouse.” This beloved holiday tradition features new and traditional Christmas music to set the scene for the season… bring your loved ones to celebrate family, faith, and the birth of a King. Get tickets here.

69th Annual Caritas Scholarship Celebration
Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 6 p.m.
Pat Sullivan Center at the University of St. Francis
For nearly 70 years, the annual Caritas Scholarship Celebration has served as the primary fundraiser for University of St. Francis scholarships. Caritas helps  to make a college education possible for so many bright students… many who are the first in their family to attend college. Each year, USF provides them with millions of dollars in institutional support, which helps students who would not be able to obtain a college degree without financial assistance.
