Bachelor's Degree Programs

Pursue your passion at USF!

What is a “bachelor’s degree?”

A bachelor’s degree is an undergraduate academic degree awarded by the University of St. Francis on completion of a course of study (your degree program or “major”). This is typically 120 credit hours of study that can include classroom, lab, internship, practicum, research-based, and clinical experience.

Our educational programs integrate:

  1. General education, which is the part of a liberal education curriculum shared by all students.
Click here to read about undergraduate General Education requirements.
  2. A “major” program of study, which is the in-depth study of one or more disciplines. You usually choose your major during sophomore year.
  3. Other transformational experiences, such as those encountered through activities, clubs, honor societies, athletics, university ministry, internships, research programs, service learning and more.
The essential activity of USF is teaching and learning, guided by our award winning faculty.  Students who successfully complete the courses required for a major qualify for an undergraduate degree.  From USF, an undergraduate degree is a launching pad—to life-changing careers, graduate school, and beyond!
