USF is now offering the new Teacher Leader Endorsement through the Master of Science in Educational Leadership program! This program is designed for teachers who want to be school leaders other than a principal or assistant principal, such as department chairs, program leaders, curriculum specialist, and others. Join an M.S. in Educational Leadership cohort today to pursue your P-12 Principal Endorsement OR your Teacher Leader Endorsement!

Site-based Programs

M.S. Educational Leadership
Earn your P-12 Principal Endorsement OR your Teacher Leader Endorsement
Location: USF’S Main Campus – 500 Wilcox St. Joliet, IL 60435
Anticipated Start date: June 2013
Class meets: Summer semesters – six days in June and six days in July 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Fall and spring semesters – one night a week 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

M.S. Educational Leadership
Earn your P-12 Principal Endorsement OR your Teacher Leader Endorsement
Location: Crystal Lake District 47 CORE Administration Center – 300 Commerce Dr. Crystal Lake, IL 60014
Anticipated Start date: June 2013
Class meets: Summer semesters – six days in June and six days in July 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Fall and spring semesters – one night a week 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

M.S. Teaching & Learning: Special Education
Earn your master’s degree as well as your Type 10 LBS 1 certification (K-12)
Location: Online AND USF’S Main Campus – 500 Wilcox Street, Joliet, IL 60435
Start dates: May 2013 AND June 2013
Class meets: Majority of the program is online with the exception of 3 courses that meet at USF’s Main Campus

M.S. programs are conveniently offered on-site, at a nearby school, or a regional campus site, and allow a cohort of teachers to select a concentration or certification area with courses designed to meet specific areas of interest and academic needs.
