    The Recreation and Sport Management Senior Scholarship Poster Session is coming up! The poster session is normally a gathering in which professionals and students discuss contemporary issues affecting the field. Students prepare extensively to showcase their work, and non-student participation is key to a successful event.

    The virtual event will take place Friday, December 4 through Tuesday, December 8, and will only require about an hour of your time. To participate, just set aside up to 60 minutes to visit our interactive website where you will be able to view student videos, browse posters, engage in written dialogue, and provide feedback.

    Drive-Thru Santa & Christmas Wonderland
    Dec 5 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

    Join us for this magical event as we spread Christmas cheer to our alumni and friends! You will remain safely in your vehicles and “drive-thru” our Christmas Wonderland that includes decorations, carolers, Bernie (our mascot), and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus! You will pause briefly for a professional photo with Santa from your car at this unique, special holiday event.
    We encourage you to tune into WCSF 88.7 FM “Spirit of Christmas” on the radio, pack the hot chocolate, dress in holiday pajamas, and decorate your vehicle (passenger side) with your family for the photo. The kids will receive a complimentary candy cane, reindeer kit, and coloring page (while supplies last) from our masked helpers. We will also collect “Letters to Santa” in our North Pole mailbox and each child will receive a response from Santa himself!

    Please join us for a short-format Saturday Information Session! You will learn more about what St. Francis offers in an admission presentation from 10-10:30 a.m., followed by a 15-minute Q&A session, and culminating with a campus tour from 10:45-11:30 a.m. An admission counselor will be available after the tour to answer additional questions. These sessions are offered on most Saturdays and space is limited to three people per family. With questions, please call our Welcome Center at 815-740-2270.
