University of St. Francis recommends all undergraduate and graduate international applicants to submit a TOEFL, Pearson’s PTE, IELTS, SAT or ACT. If you do not submit a test score, or your scores are below the required proficiency level you will automatically be considered for conditional admission. If you have taken an English proficiency test (TOEFL, IELTS or Pearson’s PTE), scores can be submitted by emailing a scanned copy of the score report to firstname.lastname@example.org. SAT or ACT scores must be officially submitted to University of St. Francis.
Students who are eligible for conditional admission are admitted to the Francis English Language for Academic Purposes program (ELAP) at University of St. Francis and must meet English proficiency requirements before being offered full admission to the university. Eligible students will receive an I-20 for English Language training and may receive an updated I-20 for academic study after receiving full admission.
If you receive conditional admission, you will be offered admission to University of St. Francis English Language for Academic Purposes program (ELAP). Any student admitted conditionally will take an English proficiency exam upon arrival at University of St. Francis. The English placement exam will determine how many ELAP courses you will need to take before beginning a full academic semester of standard classes.
