The Alumni Association hosts a variety of events leading up to and including commencement. We work to engage not only the senior class, but also the 50th reunion class into our commencement program that helps strengthen the bond to USF. This is a special milestone and we are excited to be a part of it.
This annual, complimentary event invites all students, alumni, faculty and staff to help celebrate our honored guests – the graduating senior class. Typically hosted in April (and coordinated with student input), it includes food and drinks, a photo booth, and a fun evening with the seniors. For more information about this year’s festivities, please contact Student Life 815-740-3398 or StudentandResidenceLife@stfrancis.edu.
Graduates are encouraged to bring their phones with them during the ceremony because during the alumni association speech, they will be challenged to take their best “selfie!” Those who post and tag the University of St. Francis Alumni social media pages will be sent a free gift courtesy of the Alumni & Family Relations Office. Be sure to follow us at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
