The Alumni Association hosts a variety of events leading up to and including commencement. We work to engage not only the senior class, but also the 50th reunion class into our commencement program that helps strengthen the bond to USF. This is a special milestone and we are excited to be a part of it.
This annual, complimentary event invites all students, alumni, faculty and staff to help celebrate our honored guests – the graduating senior class. Typically hosted in April (and coordinated with student input), it includes food and drinks, a photo booth, and a fun evening with the seniors. For more information about this year’s festivities, please contact the Alumni & Family Relations Office at 877-811-ALUM, email@example.com or view event details here.
Graduates are encouraged to bring their phones with them during the ceremony because during the alumni association speech, they will be challenged to take their best “selfie!” Those who post and tag the University of St. Francis Alumni social media pages will be sent a free gift courtesy of the Alumni & Family Relations Office. Be sure to follow us at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Due to preventative measures being taken by the university in light the COVID-19 outbreak, the alumni commencement tradition for the 50th reunion class—the Class of 1971—has been canceled. However, the University of St. Francis and the Alumni & Family Relations Office would like to take this opportunity to thank this very special group of alumni for their long-time school spirit, involvement and support! We look forward to honoring you at Homecoming & Reunion on October 2! Questions can be directed to the Alumni & Family Relations Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Excitement builds in the weeks leading up to graduation with fun activities on campus. Events have included a traveling photo booth, professional graduation photos on the Quad, and grab-and-go breakfast during the last week of classes. Graduation yard signs are also available for purchase so you can show off your accomplishment to your neighbors.
