Joliet, Ill. – Celebrate the holiday season with the University of St. Francis (USF) as Joliet’s university presents two special concert events in December.

Christmas at the Motherhouse

The University of St. Francis (USF) presents Christmas at the Motherhouse at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 1, and 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, in the St. Joseph Chapel in the Motherhouse (located on the main USF campus at 520 Plainfield Road in Joliet).

USF’s own Claritas Master Chorale directed by Youngham Lee will be performing and accompanied by Mark Epling. Special guests include Suyoung Lee, the Northwest Choral Society, Little OL Korea children’s choir, and instrumentalists from the Joliet Symphony Orchestra, including Beth Roth (violin), Karen Dannenhauer (violin), Beth Darin (viola), Melissa Schoonover (cello) and Douglas Adams (percussion). Tickets are free of charge and available only on a first-come, first-served basis. “Yule-SF” Christmas

Bring the family back to USF at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, for a “Yule-SF” Christmas. Celebrate the Christmas season at USF with holiday Pop music favorites from more than 20 talented local and touring performers including John Condron, Allison Flood, Brian Motyll, Alex Hoffer, Colleen Wild, Katie Pederson, Josh Nestor, Scott Kinsella, Chloe Briese, Lora Birkey-Kitchell, Dr. Mark, Tom Maslowski, David Francis, Laney Jones, Ellis Wright, Will Cooper, Scott Kinsella, Tim Placher, Cheryl Rodey, Ted Slowik and more!
